The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety is conducting an Information Night on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. This will be an opportunity for community members to learn more about the Department of Public Safety, emergency/disaster preparedness, and crime prevention tips. A reminder, the Brown Act [specifically G.C. 54952.2(c)(4)] provides for a majority of a legislative or advisory body to attend an open and noticed meeting of another legislative or advisory body, provided that a majority of the members do not discuss among themselves, other than as part of the scheduled meeting, business of a specific nature that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the legislative body of the local agency.
