Friends of Stevens Creek Trail - 32nd Trailblazer Race

Register now for the 32nd Trailblazer Race on Sunday, September 27, 2026.  This year’s race will be a bit different, to be held at the Shoreline Park Kite Flying Area.  But what will remain the same is that it is a great event for participants of all ages, and your participation directly supports the operations of the Friends of Stevens Creek Trail. 

The Trailblazer Race is a morning of fun and healthy activities for the whole family. The 10K & 5K races are scenic, fast and flat running courses heading out into Shoreline Park. The 3-mile round trip Trail Walk heads north on the Stevens Creek Trail and is scenic and level for comfortable walking. Free children’s activities for toddlers to age 10 include: festival area with snacks, supervised games, and face painting.

The Trailblazer Race raises community awareness and essential funds allowing us to promote community involvement and pride in the completion, enhancement and enjoyment of trails and wildlife corridors in the Stevens Creek watershed. Increasing public awareness, support, and consensus on trail projects comes first, which is what the Friends does. Your support is greatly appreciated.  See you at the race!
