Mesquite Tri East Branch (which also covers the areas of Balch Springs and Sunnyvale) of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) invites you to support its Inaugural Freedom Fund Dinner. The Freedom Fund Dinner is an established tradition for NAACP Branches across the country which allows them to raise critical funds to effect change and advance the cause of civil and human rights in America. With your support, we will be able to help increase the funds of our Mental Health Scholarship, make our community stronger as a whole by creating after school programs for children, offering more employment readiness teaching to our youth and building a great bond with our local government.

In addition, the Freedom Fund Dinner provides an opportunity to recognize community leaders, local businesses and national corporations, as well as emerging leaders — all of whom are actively challenging society to end discrimination, embrace diversity and ensure greater opportunity for all people.
