Offerings range from the beautifully practical, like RubyPearl’s stylish folding placemats and BeeKind’s beeswax wraps, to Miko Kami’s artful Spirit Dolls. 

About the Showcase: The goal of the Showcase is to increase awareness of FabMo’s mission of environmental stewardship while shining a spotlight on artisans that support their tenets of sustainability and reuse. Many of the Showcase artisans give back to FabMo through volunteer hours and donations and a portion of the vendor fees goes to support FabMo’s day-to-day operations. This is the second online showcase FabMo has hosted since Covid shut down in-person artisan events—their first, in Fall/Winter 2020, was a hugely popular event featuring cozy home decor and sustainably-made holiday gifts. 

About FabMo: For more than 20 years FabMo has been dedicated to rescuing no-longer-needed - but new! – designer materials from the San Francisco design community and making them available for creative re-use. Artisans turn this bounty into everything from fine art installations to fashion, jewelry, pet accessories and home decor, completing the cycle of reuse. 

The all-volunteer non-profit, formerly of Mountain View, CA, is now located at 1240 Birchwood Drive in Sunnyvale. They offers textiles, leathers, carpeting, wallpapers, tiles, trims and more to the local community through twice-monthly in-person events, and throughout the US via their online store at https://www.fabmo.org/store and ebay store at https://www.fabmo.org/ebay-store. 

FabMo estimates it rescues an overage of 70 TONS of material a year from a fate in the landfill.
